Honors Robert Joffrey with a performance by dancers of the Joffrey Ballet, under the artistic direction of Ashley Wheater. Accompanied by the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra (Marta Szlubowska – Concert Master), the guest artists present Gerald Arpino’s Round of Angels and Yuri Possokhov’s interpretation of the Spartacus Pas De Deux. Justin Peck’s In Creases, choreographed to Phillip Glass’s Four Movements for Two Pianos, features dancers with accompanists at two grand pianos on stage.
