SUMMARY:Millsaps Arts and Lecture Concert Series
DESCRIPTION:The Marta Szlubowska Ensemble is composed of seven professional musicians who will present a program of light classics and popular music arranged for strings and accordion. Vivaldi Seasons\, Dvorak and Brahms dances\, Gershwin jazzy songs as well as French\, Jewish\, Polish\, and American popular songs and tunes will be featured. The audience is encouraged to participate by clapping or singing along on some of the pieces. Marta Szlubowska is director and violin soloist as well as Concert Violinist of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra.
