DESCRIPTION:A special evening of great string quartets performed by Mississippi String Quartet (members of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra: Marta Szlubowska\, Vince Massimino\, Ausra Jasineviciute\, Veronica Parrales). You will hear the powerful Große Fugue Op. 133\, one of the greatest and most challenging of the late Beethoven string quartets coupled with the exquisite Mozart String Quartet in C Major\, K. 157 and the famous 2nd movement of the “Death and the Maiden” string quartet No. 14 in D minor by Schubert.
